How Professional Cabinet Refinishing Works

A predictable workflow makes the finish better and the project easier to live through.

How Professional Cabinet Refinishing Works

Photos, goals and preliminary scope

We start by understanding the kitchen, the door count, the condition and whether the goal is a finish change or a style change.

Final measurement and selections

Once the project is moving forward, we confirm measurements, colors, hardware, door options and any carpentry included in the written scope.

Remove and label doors

Doors and drawer fronts are removed and organized so they return to the correct locations.

Preparation and shop spraying

Removable parts are cleaned and prepared, then sprayed for a consistent cabinet finish.

Protect and finish cabinet boxes

The kitchen is masked and protected so the fixed cabinet components can be prepared and finished on site.

Reinstall and detail

Doors, drawer fronts and hardware are reinstalled, adjusted and reviewed for alignment and finishing details.
