Refacing changes more than color
A new door profile can move the kitchen from ornate traditional styling to a cleaner Shaker or other updated look while preserving usable cabinet boxes.
Door replacement requires accurate measurement
Overlay, opening size, hinge type, pair gaps and panel relationships all affect the finished alignment. Measurement and final fitting are part of the visual quality.
Exterior surfaces have to coordinate
New doors alone can look disconnected if the cabinet frames, ends, toe kicks and visible panels are not planned as part of the same exterior finish.
Refacing is not always necessary
If you already like the door profile, refinishing may give you the result for less disruption. We recommend the level of work based on the change you actually want.
Selected carpentry can be added
Depending on scope, projects may also include crown, trim, panels, cabinet-to-ceiling build-ups or other specifically quoted modifications.
